The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the European CMT Federation (ECMTF). Composed of representatives from member organizations across Europe, the Assembly meets annually to review organizational progress, approve financial statements, define strategic priorities, and elect the Board of Directors.
In alignment with ECMTF’s commitment to transparency, governance, and accountability toward the Charcot-Marie-Tooth community and international stakeholders, official summary reports of the General Assemblies are published for public reference.

Focus Areas of the Reports
Each General Assembly report documents the core operational and strategic activities of the Federation:
- Executive Oversight: Review of statutory decisions, governance updates, and Board of Directors activity.
- Financial Accountability: Presentation and approval of audited annual accounts, financial balances, and operating budgets.
- Strategic Roadmap: Status updates on European research projects, patient advocacy initiatives, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
- Member Representation: Overviews of regional developments and contributions from national member associations.
